AUTUMN 2025

JOSEPH presents Autumn 2025: a celebration of versatility fusing structure and fluidity, masculinity and femininity, refinement and functionality.

A cool palette of Oxford blue, ivory, and affogato – balanced by intense cobalt and classic black – sets the tone for the transition to autumn. Finding inspiration in Mid-century Minimalist art, graphic patterns and innovative textures bring geometric tactility to the collection while cleverly reimagining the signature JOSEPH stripe.

Delicately embroidered lines charge a path across breezy viscose-linen pieces to create bold tailoring with an artisanal edge. Double-face cashmere coats – one collarless and belted, the other more masculine and relaxed – are adorned with a subtle linear pattern. Silk-blend separates detailed with monochrome geometric shapes offer lightweight layering for the seasonal shift.

Setting the tone for the seasonal transition, the colour palette flows from cool (Oxford blue, ivory, smoke grey) to rich, jewel-like hues of cobalt, ruby and amber, balanced by earthy mushroom, creamy affogato and classic black.

Minimalist and Abstract art-inspired patterns and innovative textures bring geometric tactility to the collection. Delicately embroidered lines on breezy viscose-linen pieces create bold tailoring with an artisanal edge. Silk-blend separates detailed with monochrome shapes offer lightweight layering. Double-face cashmere coats feature a subtle linear pattern, and a fragmented vertical stitch on knitted separates cleverly reimagines the signature JOSEPH stripe.

Anticipating a drop in temperature, textures become plusher, shapes more cocooning and linear patterns evolve into chunkier grids of colour. These bold geometric motifs appear on statement mohair and patchwork shearling coats, while block colour nappa leather sits alongside graphic knitwear in cashmere and merino.

Intriguing contrasts abound. Hybrid designs (blending bomber and pea coat style codes) feel fresh and modern. Strict pleats and sharp patterns offset soft fabrics and feminine details. Utilitarian elements add urban attitude to sophisticated silhouettes. A shirt-jacket punctuated with oversized pockets proposes an effortless take on tailoring, while dark denim suiting emphasises this season’s artful approach to fabric and form.

Shorter silhouettes play with proportions, while soft shearling parkas, coats and gilets offer versatile layering options.
